Definitions:
Applicant(s): Any individual or organization submitting an application to Us.
Application: The request for sponsorship, submitted by an Applicant via the online application form, available at angelfunding.org.uk
Beneficiary: The recipient of a donation or sponsorship amount following the application for funding by an Applicant.
Service: The service provided by ‘Angel Funding’
Sponsor(s): Any individual, group or company who/which offers sponsorship via the Angel Funding Service.
Us/Our/We: The service operating as ‘AngelFunding’
Website: The website at domains:

You/Your/User(s): Any visitor to Our Website or user of our Service
1. Our Service:
1.1 Angel Funding is an independent agency service, which connects sponsorship from philanthropic or commercial sponsors (‘Sponsors’) with the needs of Applicants who require sponsorship.
1.2 We process Applications to assess their suitability for sponsorship, available from Sponsors. While We aim to secure sponsorship for as many Applicants as possible, We cannot guarantee that all Applicants will be successful in their applications.
1.3 When an Application matches the criteria set by sponsors and the criteria detailed on Our Website for sponsorship generated from sponsors of AngelFunding, sponsorship will be offered to the Applicant by Us. The Applicant is not under any obligation to accept the sponsorship offer made to them. If more than one Applicant matches with available sponsorship, those Applicants may be invited into a Voting Round to determine the recipient of the available sponsorship (see section 6). We shall not be held accountable for any damages, loss or risk encountered by Applicants as a result any sponsorship offered by Us.
1.3.1 When an Application matches the interests of a registered Sponsor, the Applicant will be contacted by AngelFunding and invited to be connected with the Sponsor to discuss potential sponsorship arrangements. We shall accept no liability or responsibility for the communications between the Sponsor and Applicant and both parties agree to carry out any necessary due diligence before entering any agreement. Any such agreement shall be entirely independent of AngelFunding.
1.3.2 Sponsor(s) of AngelFunding are invited to suggest a particular category of sponsorship which they would prefer to support and AngelFunding shall use its discretion to identify a suitable Applicant(s) to receive sponsorship using revenue from its Sponsors. Any sponsorship offered by Sponsors to AngelFunding in this way shall be used to support the work of AngelFunding generally, including supporting its running costs. We do not 'hold' money in its entirety from Sponsors, which is awaiting distribution to Applicants.
1.3.3 In the case of a Sponsor sponsoring AngelFunding (or making a promise of sponsorship) to support Our work, and whereby the Sponsor does not wish to identify a specific category to support, AngelFunding shall maintain the right to sponsor Applicants from any of the sponsorship categories as We see fit.
1.4 During the course of Our work We offer sponsorship arrangements. Any such discussion from Us, or offer by Us, or other communication with Us shall not constitute financial advice and it shall be the responsibility of the Applicant and Our Sponsors to seek their own professional advice with regards to sponsorship issued or received.
1.5 We accept no liability for any misuse of funds from sponsorship or other payments made as a result of Our matching Services, directly or otherwise.
1.6 We do not provide financial, legal, health or other personal or business advice. We do not offer an alternative to support services or professional services offering forms of advice or support and Our Website and Our Service should not be relied upon for such. It is the responsibility of Our Users to ensure they seek professional advice where required.
1.7 We shall work to match Applications received in each 'Sponsorship Round' with that Sponsorship which is available within the same specific Sponsorship Round. If an Applicant is not notified of a suitable Sponsor or available sponsorship within 2 weeks of their Application date, it shall be deemed that the Application has not been successful. It shall be the discretion of AngelFunding as to whether further work is carried out to match Applicants with Funding and/or Sponsors beyond 2 weeks of their Application date.
1.8 In the case whereby AngelFunding offers sponsorship to an Applicant who is based outside of the UK, AngelFunding may opt to offer the payment to be made via Paypal. Any Applicant submitting a sponsorship application from outside of the UK or without a UK bank account is responsible for ensuring they are able to receive sponsorship payments through this means of payment.
2. Our Website:
2.1 In visiting Our Website and/or using Our Service, it is understood and agreed by You that due to the nature of online services and information processing between servers, information may be transferred between servers at different locations as a means of carrying out Our normal business operations.
2.2 By submitting any of Our contact forms, You agree to receive communications from Us relating to Our Service. You can opt out of these communications at any time by contacting Us at info@angelfunding.org.uk.
2.3 By using Our Website, You agree not to:

Transmit, post or email any content or information that is harmful, threatening, unlawful, obscene, libelous, invasive of another’s privacy, abusive, or otherwise objectionable.

Transmit, post or email any unauthorized or unsolicited advertising or other forms of solicitation, including but not limited to ‘spam’ or ‘junk mail’.

Transmit, post or email any material or content which contains viruses, harmful software, programmes, computer code or any other files or information which are designed to damage or negatively affect the functionality of hardware, software or equipment.
2.4 We shall not be liable or responsible for any losses or damage incurred to any person(s) or business incurred as a result of using Our Website or Services.
2.5 You may not copy, reproduce or distribute any material, including logos or images found on Our Website without prior express permission from Us. This includes images and material which may belong to third parties.
2.6 Our Website may contain links to third party websites and associated services. We accept no liability for any content displayed or services provided by third party websites or providers.
2.7 Any material or information downloaded or retrieved from Our Website is done at the Users’ risk and We accept no liability for any damage or loss of data caused by doing so.
2.8 While We do our utmost to ensure Our Website and Service remain online and available, We shall not be held responsible for any downtime in Our Website or availability of our Application system. Nor shall We be liable for any viruses, computer code or files which cause damage to, or compromise the Website or any third party hardware.
2.9 Users are responsible for ensuring adequate anti-virus software is installed upon any device accessing Our Website, files, code or data.
3. Sponsorship Applications and Sponsor Registrations
3.1 In submitting an Application for funding or in communications with Us, You agree to provide accurate, up to date and true information at all times and to inform Us if at any time the information You have submitted requires updating.
3.2 Only the person named on the Funding Application Form shall be able to request information or updates on a funding Application or enquiry with Us.
3.2.1 In the event that the intended beneficiary of any sponsorship is under 18 years of age, it is the Applicant's responsibility to ensure authorisation for the application is provided within the application form by a parent or guardian. If the Application form is submitted without the authorisation section complete, it shall be deemed that the Applicant is over 18 years.
3.3 Any User visiting the Website or submitting a sponsorship Application or Sponsor Registration from outside of the UK may do so at their own discretion, and it is the responsibility of the User to conform to any relevant compliance laws. No refund shall be offered following the payment of an Application or Registration fee from a User located inside or outside of the UK in the event of an invalid sponsorship Application or Registration.
3.4 All sponsorship Applications must be submitted via the online Application form, available at www.angelfunding.org.uk or www.angelfundinginternational.com
3.5 We do not consider sponsorship Applications for causes which are deemed illegal, immoral, harmful to others or whose intentions are deemed to be in conflict with our charitable values. Such Applications which are found to be so, will be disregarded, but the submission of such Applications may still be subject to a non-refundable Application fee. We also reserve the right to reject a sponsorship Application following its initial approval if We later deem it to fall outside of Our criteria for sponsorship.
3.6 We shall not be held responsible for any sponsorship Application which is later found to be in conflict with our business values as laid out in these Terms and Conditions, but which was not identified by us as being so.
3.7 Only Applications which have been submitted with all necessary fields completed and which are submitted with an Application fee will be considered for processing, unless otherwise expressly communicated by Us to the Applicant.
3.8 We do not offer refunds on Application fees under any circumstances.
3.9 We retain the right, upon Our assessment to deem an Application suitable or unsuitable for funding, using our discretion as well as the criteria set by our sponsors.
3.10 The Application fee is processed via a third party payment processor (Squareup, Stripe or PayPal). In submitting an Application fee, You thereby agree to the Terms of Service offered by these third party services.
3.11 Upon submitting a sponsorship Application, You give Us permission to contact You with information We deem to be useful to You in Your application for sponsorship.
3.12 Any individual or organisation registering as a Sponsor agrees to receive notifications of opportunities for sponsorship arrangements as they become available to Us.
3.13 An application fee of £2 shall be applied to each sponsorship Application. Applicants may opt in to additional fees such as a 'priority' fee or 'promotional permission' fee, which may increase the likelihood of an applicant being successfully matched with sponsorship. These fees are non-refundable.
4. Use of Your data:
4.1 Any data You share with Us shall be obtained and processed lawfully and fairly and personal data shall only be used for the purposes of Our business operations.
4.2 Personal data shall not be kept for longer than is necessary for the operation of Our business Services.
Data stored shall be processed in accordance with the subject’s rights and Users may request for their data to be deleted from Our database at any time. To request for Your data to be removed from Our database, please contact Us at info@angelfunding.org.uk
4.3 By using Our website and/or Our Services, You agree that the data You provide to Us may be used in accordance with the operation of Our business, including the analysis of Website visitor data and page visits and the sharing of data with third party service providers and processors, which are related to the Service We provide (such as webhosting providers).
4.4 You also hereby agree to Your data being disclosed where necessary to aid with relevant legal requirements or disputes and/or in the sharing of Your data with regulatory bodies.
5. These Terms and Conditions
5.1 If any term or clause within these Terms and Conditions is held by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, illegal, void or unenforceable, the remainder of the terms shall remain in full force and effect and shall in no way be affected or invalidated.
5.2 We retain the right to adjust these Terms and Conditions at any time. We invite You to familiarize yourself with Our Terms and Conditions before submitting an Application or using Our Services.
5.3 These terms and conditions shall be governed in accordance with English law and Users agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.
6. Voting Rounds
6.1 When 2 or more Applications contain similar credentials in terms of matching with available sponsorship, Applicants may be invited to be included in a Voting Round as a means of designating sponsorship to an Applicant.
6.2 Applicants invited to the Voting Round must reply with confirmation of their approval to be included within the specified invitation time frame. In the event that a response is not received within the specified time frame, sponsorship may be offered to another applicant, or the voting round may proceed without their inclusion.
6.3 The sponsorship allocations available via the Voting Round are derived from sponsorship received directly to Us, as described in section '1.3' and 1.3.3'
6.4 When included in a Voting Round, applicants may promote their Application and invite their contacts to vote for their Application.
6.5 Voters may 'weight' their voting choices according to the Applicant(s) they most wish to support. Voters may do this by casting multiple votes for an Applicant and/or by voting for more than one Applicant.
6.6 A voting fee of £0.50p applies to each individual vote. Only votes submitted along with the voting fee shall be counted. The Voting Fees are used by Us to support Our service generally and to host the Voting Rounds.
6.7 Voters cast their vote(s) on the understanding that only the Applicant receiving most votes by the close of the Voting Round shall be offered a sponsorship allocation.
6.8 Under no circumstances shall votes or voting fees be reversed or refunded.
6.9 In the event that two or more applicants have received an equal number of votes at the close of the Voting Round, the available sponsorship allocation shall be split equally between those Applicants.
6.10 It is the voters' responsibility to ensure the details submitted on the voting form are accurate and correct. In the event that incorrect information is entered, the vote(s) may be rendered invalid while the voting fee may still be applicable.
6.11 The voting form shall be rendered inaccessible at the time of the Voting Round closing. Votes which have not been successfully submitted, including the payment of the relevant voting fee by the time of the Voting Round closing shall not be accepted.
6.12 The Voting Round is made available to Applicants at Our discretion and is not related to any 'Priority Fee' which may be linked to Applications. We reserve the right to host Voting Rounds at any time and to discontinue Our Voting Round service at any time.
6.13 Applicants and Voters who partake in the Voting Round do so on the understanding that the total number of Applicants within each Voting Round is unconfirmed.
6.14 At the close of a Voting Round, the Applicant having received most votes shall have their first name and the initial of their surname displayed on the voting page.
