How do I apply for funding?
To apply for funding, simply complete our 3-minute Funding Application Form. You'll receive confirmation of your application via email and we'll begin matching your needs with funding from our sponsors.
Can I apply for funding from abroad?
Yes. We are a UK-based service, but we are able to match applicants with sponsors from across the globe.
Will it cost anything to apply for funding?
We charge a nominal, one-off administration fee of just £2 per application, which is charged at the time of submitting your Funding Application Form. By including a small application fee, we ensure that we only receive genuine application form submissions, while also helping to make our service widely available.
We also provide an option for applicants to have their application prioritised by paying a priority fee: We will firstly work to source funding for applications which have requested priority.
In the case of an applicant being connected with a commercial sponsor, we charge the sponsor a connection fee of 5% of the value of the sponsorship offered.
How do I become a Sponsor?
There are two ways in which you can become an AngelFunding Sponsor. Firstly, you may register as a Sponsor and be matched with one of our Funding Applicants, allowing you to arrange your own sponsorship agreement personally.
Secondly, you can support AngelFunding by offering a donation directly to us. The Donation Form allows you to specify the category of support to which you'd like your donation to be allocated, from our 9 Funding Categories.
How does AngelFunding source its Sponsors?
We approach potential sponsors who may be looking for commercial sponsorship opportunities as well as those who would like to offer philanthropic donations to specific causes. Sponsors are also able to register online via our Sponsor Registration Form.
How long does it take to receive funding/sponsorship?
Your application is automatically submitted into the current round of funding. If we have sponsors and/or funding available within the funding round, which match your application, you will be contacted within 2 weeks of your application date with details of the funding available.
Can I apply for funding more than once?
Yes. Whether your application is successful or not, you can reapply in a later funding round and this will be processed as a fresh application.
Who can apply for sponsorship?
We work with applications from a diverse range of needs and backgrounds. Our 9 Funding Categories allow applicants to select which category their application falls into.
How much funding can I apply for?
There is no minimum or maximum value of funding request we accept in an application. However, it's worth noting that the higher value of funding you require, the more difficult it becomes for us to source a suitable sponsor to support your needs.
