Investing in Start-Up Initiatives
We recognise that it can be very difficult for new ventures to raise the money they need get their initiative off the ground. Connecting with a sponsor or investor could give your business initiative the boost it needs.
To apply for funding in this category, you must meet the following criteria:
- Be over 18yrs (or have authorisation from a parent/guardian if under 18yrs).
- Have a clear vision of the business venture you have, or are intending to launch and be able to summarise this within your application.
- Be able to provide a summary of the funding required and how any funding would be used to support your venture.
- Summarise the extent to which you have researched the viability of your business and its place in the market.
- Offer a summary of your business plan.
- Indicate whether you require funding on an ongoing basis or for a one-off expense and explain why.
- Have a bank or PayPal account registered in your name or the name of your authorising person, for the receipt of any funding payments issued to you.
- Have access to an email address for correspondence.
